These Terms govern access to and use of SoundLens, including its website, audio-analysis tools, artist-comparison features, accounts, saved reports, and paid plans. By creating an account or using SoundLens, you agree to these Terms.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and notify SoundLens of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
You retain ownership of audio you upload. You grant SoundLens a limited permission to receive, process, temporarily store, and analyze that audio solely to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service. You must have the legal right to upload and analyze the material. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, privacy, contractual, or other rights.
SoundLens provides automated estimates and creative-production guidance. BPM, key, mix, arrangement, release, energy, artist-match, and related outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not guarantees of commercial performance, release quality, similarity, ownership, or legal clearance. Use professional judgment and reference listening before making release, business, or technical decisions.
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with infrastructure, evade limits, reverse engineer protected components, upload malicious files, scrape at unreasonable volume, impersonate others, or use SoundLens to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
Paid plans are billed through the payment provider shown at checkout. Prices, billing intervals, included features, and applicable taxes are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the available billing method. SoundLens may change future pricing or plan features with reasonable notice; changes do not retroactively alter completed billing periods.
SoundLens may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or product quality. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Access may be limited or terminated for material violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, non-payment, or conduct that harms SoundLens or other users. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoundLens is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, or specific results. SoundLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount you paid to SoundLens during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Alberta will have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

This Policy explains how SoundLens handles information when you use the service.
Information is used to provide analysis, authenticate accounts, enforce usage limits, save reports, process subscriptions, support users, detect misuse, understand product performance, and improve SoundLens.
Uploaded audio is processed to generate requested analysis. Temporary uploads may remain on the server as required for processing and operational troubleshooting. Saved report data remains connected to the account until deleted. Users should not upload confidential audio unless they accept this processing.
Information may be processed by hosting, email, payment, analytics, and AI service providers only as needed to operate SoundLens. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply.
Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and backups. Account deletion removes the active account and saved reports from the application. Limited records may remain in backups or logs for a reasonable period.
SoundLens uses reasonable safeguards, including password hashing and access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You may request support, correct account information, delete individual saved reports, or permanently delete your account from the Account section. Marketing emails, when introduced, will include an unsubscribe method.
Privacy questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
SoundLens subscriptions provide immediate access to digital features. Except where required by law, subscription charges are generally non-refundable after access has been provided.
Contact SoundLens promptly if you believe you were charged more than once, charged after a confirmed cancellation, or billed an incorrect amount. Verified billing errors will be corrected.
When a prolonged technical problem materially prevents use of paid features and SoundLens cannot restore access within a reasonable period, SoundLens may provide a proportional refund or account credit at its discretion.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally continues through the already-paid billing period. Not using the service does not by itself create a refund right.
Submit requests through the Contact page with the account email, charge date, amount, and reason. Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
Update the password you use to sign in to SoundLens. Your plan, reports, and account data will not change.
This permanently removes your active SoundLens account and saved reports. A safety backup is created before deletion, but restoration is not guaranteed. This action cannot be undone through the website.
